Mary Padian became one of the most beloved cast members of Storage Wars thanks to her energetic personality, unique sense for valuing items, and ability to turn forgotten storage units into treasures. She first appeared on Storage Wars: Texas in 2012 and later joined the main cast of Storage Wars in Los Angeles.

Mary was known for her unusual skill in spotting valuable items among piles of junk — earning her the nickname “The Junkster.”

While she was a main cast member up to Season 12, fans noticed her absence in later episodes. Season 13, which aired in 2021, marked her last regular appearance, with a special guest spot helping her friend Brandi Passante at an auction. 

Mary hasn’t publicly shared a specific reason for leaving the show. However, after moving back to Texas from California, she appears to have focused on her own businesses and life outside television. 

After leaving the series, Mary expanded Mary’s Finds, an online store selling vintage items, home décor, and refurbished treasures she collects from auctions, markets, and storage units around Texas. While her physical store closed due to reduced foot traffic during the COVID‑19 pandemic, she continues selling online. 

Mary has also participated in charitable projects, collaborating with Ubuntu Life, an organization that supports women artisans in Kenya and funds clinics for children.

She actively uses social media to share her storage finds, tips for buying and restoring items, and to promote her projects.
